Ashes of the Seas offers funeral services for all, from the very simple quiet farewell to a fully catered event cruise after the formal ash scattering of your loved one.

We offer vessels of all sizes; our vessels are United States Coast Guard inspected, and all of our captains are United States Coast Guard Licensed. The cruise destination to the final resting place for all ash scatterings is exactly 3.01 nautical miles south of the world-famous Jones Beach. “A Casual Farewell”

2-hour Casual Event, Nautical Farewell Ash Scattering Cruise for up to 6 passengers, includes the following:

32 ft. vessel.
2-hour event cruise.
One passenger to 6 passengers.
1 United States Coast Guard licensed captain.
1 Deckhand casual attire dress code.
Final destination arrival 45 mins from the departure point.
Ash scattering 15 minutes to 25 minutes.
Return cruise 45 to 55 mins. Disembark.

2-hour Casual Event, Nautical Farewell Ash Scattering Cruise for up to 100 passengers, includes the following:

65ft to 100ft Vessel.
2 hour event cruise.
One passenger to 100 passengers.
1 United States Coast Guard licensed captain.
2 Deckhands casual attire dress code.
Final destination arrival 45 mins from the departure point.
Ash scattering 15 mins to 25 mins.
Return cruise 45 to 55 mins. Disembark.

Upgrades available:

Captains Eulogy; 5-minute reading. The client may supply a eulogy, or Captain can orchestrate a nautical eulogy.
Life Ring with Sunrise D.O.B & Sunset D.O.D with loved one’s name.

“A Formal Farewell”

2.5-hour Formal Event, Nautical Farewell Ash Scattering Cruise for up to 100 passengers, includes the following:

1 United States Coast Guard licensed captain.
2 Marine crew dressed in full nautical uniform.
Final destination arrival 45 mins from the departure point.
Captains Eulogy; 5-10 minute reading. The client may supply a eulogy, or Captain can orchestrate a nautical eulogy.
Ash scattering 15 minutes to 25 minutes.
Rose petal toss final farewell 10 minutes (BIODEGRADABLE).
Circle of the Roses 3 minutes. Circle of the Roses captain will perform a 360* turn around the roses as a show of lifelong respect to your loved one.
Three long blasts from the ship’s horn signal the ceremony’s conclusion.
Final resting place coordinates frameable certificate signed by the captain—property of family after the cruise.
Monument Shroud Stand for the transportation of contained Ashes to your loved one’s final resting place.
Return cruise 45 to 55 mins. Disembark.
